Walter Dunz

Walter Dunz (born September 19, 1886 in Stuttgart ; † 1963 ) was a German tax officer.

Career

After attending grammar school in Stuttgart, he studied law at the universities in Tübingen and Berlin . He passed the first examination for the higher judicial service in Württemberg in 1908 in Tübingen , and in 1912 the state examination for the higher financial service in Stuttgart. In 1927 he entered the state service in Württemberg. From 1928 to 1933 he was deputy Reichsrat representative in tax matters.

After the end of the Second World War , he was Ministerialrat in the central administration of the Württemberg State Administration of Finance from 1945, later until his retirement on June 30, 1952, Ministerial Director in the Finance Ministry of the State of Württemberg-Baden .

From 1947 Dunz was head of the Württembergische Landessparkasse , from 1949 to 1953 chairman of the supervisory board of the Württembergische Bank in Stuttgart and from 1953 at the commercial and commercial bank in Heilbronn .

He was also a member of the Protestant State Church Congress.
