Martin Loos (politician)

Martin Loos (born July 4, 1904 in Zirndorf ; † February 15, 1978 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life

Loos completed his professional training as a mechanic and metal pusher and attended specialist courses and courses at the Nuremberg Adult Education Center . In 1928 he took over his parents 'metal goods business and became a member of the Nuremberg Chamber of Crafts and the Fürth toy and metal goods manufacturers' guild . In 1933 he was elected to the city council. During the Second World War he was drafted into the Wehrmacht before he was conscripted to Munich . In September 1945 he was appointed head of a department in the city administration of Zirndorf. Part-time he was responsible for the organization of the adult education center, courses for the unemployed and for the new construction of the municipal public library. In 1946 he was elected to the district council. From 1950 to 1970 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament . He always won the direct mandate in the constituencies of Nürnberg-Land and Fürth-Land , most recently in the constituency of Fürth-Land, Neustadt an der Aisch .
