The notchback sedan MM520 and the hatchback sedan MM520i are the first sedans from the Italian bus and automobile manufacturer Martin Motors and have been produced under license for the Chinese Lifan 520 since 2009 .

With the establishment of the MM520 series, Martin Motors ranks its two sedans in the compact and middle class and would like to target customers of the compact class with these two models. In order to be successful on the European market, the model was adapted to the local market requirements. As standard, both models offer dual airbags, electronic brake force distribution (EBD), a liquid gas tank below the trunk, a torsion beam rear axle with stabilizer, child safety locks , a height-adjustable steering wheel, central locking with remote control, four-way adjustable seats, electric windows front and rear , electrically adjustable exterior rear-view mirrors, DVD player with CD compartment, radio and MP3 connection, hand-controlled air conditioning, active headrests and light alloy wheels.

The engines of the two models were in-line four-cylinder gasoline engines of the Tritec type with 16 valves, a displacement of 1596 cm³ and an output of 85 kW (Euro IV). The manual transmissions have five gears. The 520i, whose trunk has a capacity of 500 liters, is longer but also a little lighter than the smaller 520 with 620 liters of trunk.
