Martin Ondrejka (born November 20, 1972 in London , England ) is a former German - British ice hockey player who won the German championship with the Kölner Haien in 1995 .

Career

Ondrejka began his career in the youth team of the Cologne EC , where he was active in the junior team from 1989. He completed his first professional assignments during the 1992/93 season when the then KEC coach Vladimir Vasilyev called him to the Cologne professional team. Ondrejka came to nine appearances in the 1st Bundesliga . In the same season he moved to league rivals Krefelder EV for nine games . Then he returned to Cologne.

At the KEC, which from then on called itself Kölner Haie with the introduction of the German Ice Hockey League , Ondrejka was part of the regular squad. At the end of the 1994/95 season he won the German championship with the Haien. The offensive player completed 61 league games and scored ten times. In the summer of 1996 he left Cologne and joined the mosquitoes Essen , who were playing in the then second-class first division north . He ended his active ice hockey career in Essen in 1998.
