Martin Peuppus (1964)

Martin Peuppus (born December 25, 1882 in Munich ; † November 3, 1965 ibid) was a Bavarian Kapellmeister.

As a student he joined the Regensburger Domspatzen in 1887 . After completing his music studies, he became a music teacher at the Wittelsbacher Gymnasium in Munich . After the death of his father Jakob Peuppus , he took over the management of the Peuppus chapel. He also worked in the United States of America, among other places, where he recorded a large number of records.

For the period from June 1 to December 1, 1926, the Peuppus band was committed to serve in the World Exhibition in Philadelphia for the “Nuremberg Main Market” department and performed in a gigantic hall with a capacity of 10,000 people. 25 years earlier, his father Jakob Peuppus was hired to attend the world exhibition in Buffalo . At the same time, a staff of over 70 people such as waitresses, cooks, butchers, etc. went to the United States.
