Martin Pichert

Martin Pichert (born November 10, 1896 in Berlin , † June 4, 1989 in Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn ) was a German film production manager and film producer .

Life

After training as a businessman, he began working as a trainee at Oskar Messter's film production company in 1913 . From 1916 to 1918 he took part in the First World War, after which he worked again in various functions for Messter.

In 1927 he made his first appearance as production manager. He performed his job in the service of UFA , Bavaria and several other film companies. After the Second World War, Pichert founded his own production company, Primus-Film. With her he produced several feature films and worked as their production manager himself.
