Martin Schaub

Martin Schaub (born April 3, 1937 in Zurich ; † June 14, 2003 ibid) was a Swiss publicist .

Life

Martin Schaub completed a degree in German at the University of Zurich , which he completed with a PhD. phil. completed. From 1963 to 1968 he was a local and international editor for the Neue Zürcher Zeitung . From 1968 to 1983 he was in charge of film reporting at the Tages-Anzeiger . Schaub was one of the founders of the Tages-Anzeiger-Magazin , for which he wrote articles for years. In addition, he was editor of the film magazine Cinema from 1974 to 1986 and wrote about photography and worked as a lecturer for film / video at the school for design in Zurich .

In 2000 he received an award for general cultural merits from the city of Zurich.

Schaub's estate can be found in the documentation center of the Cinémathèque suisse in Zurich.
