Martin Schramm

Martin Schramm (born November 11, 1975 in Kulmbach ) is a German archivist . He heads the “City Archives and Museums” department of the city of Fürth .

Live and act

Schramm grew up in Franconian Switzerland and Bayreuth . From October 1996 to July 2002 he studied contemporary history, Bavarian and Franconian history and sociology in Bayreuth, Berlin and Coventry, as well as international relations during a semester abroad. He then did his doctorate at the Chair of Modern History in Bayreuth on the subject of "The image of Germany in the British press from 1912 to 1919". phil. He also worked for three years as a lecturer and research assistant at the University of Bayreuth . From 2006 to 2008 he completed the preparatory service for the higher archival service at the Bavarian Archive School in Munich. From December 2008 to June 2010 he worked at the Bamberg State Archives . In July 2010 he took over the management of the city archive and city ​​museum in Fürth . In 2014, as part of the redesign of the archive and museum landscape, he also took over the management of the Broadcasting Museum.
