Martin Treberspurg

Martin Treberspurg (born January 23, 1953 in Vienna ) is an Austrian architect .

Life

Martin Treberspurg studied architecture and civil engineering at the Vienna University of Technology from 1971 to 1977 and was assistant at the Institute for Building Construction from 1982 to 1996. In his dissertation he dealt with the passive use of solar energy through ecological construction. From 1997 to 1999 he headed the building construction department at the Vienna University of Applied Sciences , where he has been lecturer for real estate since 2003. In 2004 he was appointed full professor for resource-oriented building at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna .

As an architect, Treberspurg worked for Anton Schweighofer and later for Johann Georg Gsteu during his studies . In 1985 he started his own business together with Georg W. Reinberg. Since 1996 he has been the managing partner of the civil engineering company Treberspurg & Partner Architects. Martin Treberspurg is the son of the sculptor Adolf Treberer-Treberspurg .
