Martina Haag (* 9. June 1964 in Lidingö , Stockholm as Helen Martina Uusma ) is a Swedish writer and actress .

Life

After making her debut on the theater stage at the age of seven, Martina Haag studied acting at the Calle Flygare Teaterskola . She starred in films like Adam & Eva , Selma and Johanna and Naked Again . The 2007 comedy Salto for Beginners is the film adaptation of her second novel Underbar och älskad av alla ( Wonderful and loved by everyone (and it's great at work too) ). She herself played the main role and provided the script for it. She has been writing novels, essays and columns for magazines such as Elle , Mama and Aftonbladet since 2004 . Her novels have so far been published by the Swedish publisher Piratförlaget .

From 1995 to 2014, Haag was married to the Swedish filmmaker Erik Haag , with whom they have four children. She is also the older sister of the illustrator Bea Uusma , who was married to Henrik Schyffert until 2012 .
