Bella tries her luck as an actress. To increase her chances in this industry, she improves her resume with a lie by pretending to be an acrobat. This additional qualification impressed the famous Ingmar Bergman, who immediately wanted to win her for his new play. Bella accepts the offer and becomes more and more entangled in her own lies, while the Danish actor Micke suddenly becomes interested in her .
