Martina Werner (* 3. June 1969 as Martina Gustke in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German satirist and politician ( the PARTY ).

Life

Werner obtained the general higher education entrance qualification at the Goethe-Gymnasium in Frankfurt am Main in 1988 . This was followed by training as an industrial clerk at Linotype .

After completing a degree in communication design in Wiesbaden , she had been the only female member of the editorial board of the satirical magazine Titanic for a long time since 1997 . The title of the October 2006 issue, which she designed (Kohls Mädchen unpacks) , received the Lead Award in bronze in 2007 for the “Cover of the Year”. The price was later auctioned on the Internet.

Martina Werner is one of the founding members of the Party for Labor, Rule of Law, Animal Welfare, Promotion of Elites and grassroots initiative (Die PARTEI) in August 2004. In the seven-member federal executive she held the position of spokeswoman for family policy. In 2013 she ran for the first time as a candidate, both for the Hessian state parliament (No. 9 in the state list) and for the German Bundestag (No. 7 in the state list for Hesse). In the 2014 European elections , she took second place on the PARTY's electoral list after Martin Sonneborn . Sonneborn had his party's only mandate for the European Parliament ; In the event of his resignation, Werner would have been the first to succeed.In June 2019, she resigned in protest against postponed and delayed resolutions on the issue of sexism , as did Leo Fischer from the office of the federal executive committee.
