Maruhana ( transcription from Japanese 丸 鼻 'round nose' ) is a headland on the Crown Prince Olav coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is one of the two western extensions of the Shinnan Rocks on the western flank of the Shinnan Glacier .
Japanese cartographers mapped them using aerial photographs from 1962 and surveys from 1974. The descriptive name was given in 1977.
