Mary Penelope Aubrey-Fletcher, 8th Baroness Braye (born September 28, 1941 ) is a British peeress and non-party politician .

life and career

Aubrey-Fletcher, nee Verney-Cave, was born on September 29, 1941 to Thomas Verney-Cave, 7th Baron Braye , and Dorothea Donoghue († 1994). She usually uses her middle name Penelope. She attended the Assumption Convent at Hengrave Hall and the University of Warwick .

In 1983 Aubrey-Fletcher was High Sheriff of Northamptonshire .

She has been President of the Blaby Cons since 1986. Association, was vice president of the Red Cross of North Hants from 1983-92 , since 1978 governor of St. Andrew's Hospital in Northampton , 1983 of Three Shires Hospital, also in Northampton, chairman of the school committee of St. Andrew's Occupational Therapy School of 1988-93.

She married Lt.-Col. Edward Henry Lancelot Aubrey-Fletcher, son of Sir Henry Lancelot Aubrey-Fletcher, 6th Baronet , and Mary Augusta Chilton. They don't have children.
