Mary Elizabeth Thomson-King , MBE (born June 8, 1961 in Newark-on-Trent , Nottinghamshire , as Mary Elizabeth Thomson ) is a British eventing rider and six-time Olympian.
Career
She won team gold six times at world and European championships . In addition, she was British champion four times. In 1992, 1996, 2000, 2004, 2008 and 2012 she started at the Olympic Games.
Private
In 1995 she married Alan "David" King, with whom she has two children. The family lives in Devon .

- Appache Sauce (* 1996; † October 2012), father: Endoli xx, father of mother: Colman; was ridden by Emily King from summer 2012
- Call Again Cavalier (1992 - November 30, 2008), father: Cavalier Royale, euthanized on November 30, 2008 due to a broken leg at the Express Eventing International Cup in Cardiff .
