Mary Wiseman
Mary Wiseman (born July 30, 1985 ) is an American actress .
Life
Wiseman grew up in Gaithersburg , Maryland and attended the DC Shakespeare Theater's high school outreach program . She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater Studies from Boston University and studied at the Juilliard School .
Wiseman's stage roles included Nitzan Halperin's Sow and Weep (2008, Boston University College of Fine Arts, New York), Ariel Carson's I Wanted it to Have a How & I Wanted it to Have a Verb (2011, Dixon Place) and the role of Betsy / Lindsay in Bruce Norris ' Clybourne Park (2013, Chautauqua Theater Company).
After her first small television roles, she has played the role of cadet Sylvia Tilly in the series Star Trek: Discovery since 2017 . Wiseman lives in New York City .
