Masahiro Hirakubo

Masahiro Hirakubo (* before 1983 in England ) is a British film editor who was nominated for the BAFTA Award .

Career

Initially, Hirakubo cut several smaller television series and documentaries . From 1988 to 1990 Jim Bergerac worked on the television series . In 1994 he made his cinema debut with his film editing of Kleine Morde unter Freunde . He later acted in the films Trainspotting - New Heroes , Better Live Unusually , Hi-Lo Country and The Beach . Then he edited the film The Gathering in 2002 and Ella - Verflixt & zauberhaft in 2004 . In 2006, Hirakubo worked with co-editors Chris Lebenzon and Roger Barton on the fantasy film Eragon - The Legacy of the Dragon Riders and a year later on Moving McAllister . In 2008 he edited the film The Duchess and in 2010 the British film Chatroom .
