Masanobu Deme

Masanobu Deme ( Japanese 出 目 昌 伸 , Deme Masanobu ; born October 2, 1932 in Yōkaichi (today: Higashiōmi ), Shiga Prefecture ; † March 13, 2016 in Tokyo ) was a Japanese director.

Deme studied from 1951 to 1956 at Waseda University and began in 1957 as an assistant director at the Tōhō film studio . In 1968 he made his debut as a director with the film Toshigoro . As a director, he produced not only feature films but also numerous television dramas.
