Maselheim is a village in the Biberach district . It is the capital of the Maselheim community .

coat of arms

The coat of arms of Maselheim is square in white and red, in the 2nd and 3rd field there is a white cross with paw ends. It is covered with a double-row, white and red nested sloping beam. The coat of arms was adopted by the Cistercian convent in Heggbach in 1931 in the colors blue and red. The colors were changed in 1955 on the recommendation of the archives.

In the center of Maselheim there is a larger commercial building which houses the hotel, a post office, dentist and a bank.

Maselheim also has two construction companies, one of which specializes in the manufacture of precast concrete parts. There is a multi-purpose hall on the western edge of the village . The food fair of a regional food wholesaler takes place here regularly .

In 2010, the community energy cooperative Maselheim was founded in Maselheim on the initiative of the municipal council. This was expanded to include Warthausen in 2012 and renamed to Bürgerenergiegenossenschaft Riss eG.
