Masculin Mixtape Vol. 4 is the fourth sampler from the Masculin label . It was officially released on January 24, 2014. However, a version modified by DJ Maxxx was released on December 6, 2013 via the filehoster Sendspace . With the release of the CD, the free link was removed from the server.

content

Musically, the content is partly based on the predecessor . The performers greatly enhance themselves, stylize themselves as rich and sometimes make threats of violence against an indefinite "you". The content of the song Pain & Gain is based on the film of the same name . With Sillis there is a club song on the sampler. In ACAB and prison in prison out , the topics of arrest and correctional facility are dealt with. Because they do not know what they are doing , it is about religion and divine grace . In addition, the chorus of the songs Sls , Mr. Officer and Direction of sunlight is sung with automatic pitch correction .

background

Weeks after the release of the third sampler, Masculine Mixtape Vol. 3 , it was announced that a mixtape by the rapper Jihad would be published under the title Street Dreamers . The release date was initially postponed because the Masculin label changed its distribution and online shop during this time. The jihad, which is in the foreground at Street Dreamers, had already published more than 30 songs since he was under contract with Masculin. Shortly after the sampler was published, Fler announced that he had received a legal letter from Animus with financial claims . Fler stated that there had never been a contract for financial compensation from Animus and that this was only planned for the release of a solo album.

occupation

The cast of the sampler includes Fler , Silla , Animus and the rapper Jihad, who is in the foreground of this sampler .
