Massimo Vellar (born August 30, 1977 in Asiago ) is a former Italian ski jumper .

Vellar made his debut in the Ski Jumping World Cup on January 1, 1993 . In Garmisch-Partenkirchen he reached the 60th place, with which he finished 78th place in the tour overall ranking. On March 27, 1993 he reached the 9th place with the team in Planica . From 1996 Vellar jumped firmly in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup . In 1997 he won the bronze medal at the Italian championships for the first time. In 1998, as in 1999 and 2000, he again won bronze at the Italian championships. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1999 in Ramsau am Dachstein , Vellar reached 47th place on the normal and 37th place on the large hill. After the 1999/2000 season , he ended his active ski jumping career.
