The Massylians ( ancient Greek Μασσύλιοι Massylioi , Latin Massyli ) were an ancient tribe in eastern Numidia . In the east their area ( Massylia ) bordered Carthage , in the west with Masaisylia , the area of ​​the Massasylians . The most important places were Cirta , Tebessa and Thugga .
