The Mast-Jägermeister SE is a non-listed European company whose shares are privately owned by the family Findel-Mast. The headquarters of Mast-Jägermeister SE is located in Lower Saxony Wolfenbüttel . Günter Mast was the company's managing director for many years .

history

The company was founded by Wilhelm Mast in 1878 as a vinegar factory and wine shop in Wolfenbüttel. His son Curt Mast invented the recipe for the herbal liqueur Jägermeister in 1934 and launched it for the first time in 1935. In 1947 he converted his company into W. Mast GmbH . After Curt Mast's death in 1970, his daughter Annemarie Findel-Mast became the main shareholder in the company and the GmbH was reorganized into W. Mast Kommanditgesellschaft . In 1987 the company was transformed into Mast-Jägermeister AG, a non-listed stock corporation. In 2008 she passed her shares on within the family. Annemarie Findel-Mast died in January 2010. In July 2010 the Viennese Cervus Beteiligungsverwaltungs AG was founded, in which the Wolfenbütteler Mast-Jägermeister AG was the sole shareholder. In December 2010, the two companies merged, with Cervus being completely absorbed by Mast-Jägermeister. In 2011 there was a change in the corporate form according to European law and thus the establishment of Mast-Jägermeister SE based in Wolfenbüttel. At the end of September 2016, Paolo Dell'Antonio , who had been CFO on the board since 1999 and also board spokesman since 2007, left the company.

Products

The main turnover of the company is achieved with the herbal liqueur Jägermeister. Mast-Jägermeister SE used to manufacture a large number of products.
