Matej Uram (born May 30, 1983 ) is a former Slovak ski jumper .
Uram started in the Continental Cup (COC) between 1997 and 2002 . Despite the lack of success in this series, he was also used in World Cup jumping from 1998. He played his first World Cup on March 21, 1998 on the large hill in Planica . However, he only reached the 50th place. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1999 in Ramsau am Dachstein , Uram jumped 57th on the normal hill and 63rd on the large hill. At the end of the 1998/99 World Cup season , he achieved his first World Cup points in ski flying in Planica with 22nd place. With these he reached 80th place in the overall World Cup ranking. However, it was also the last World Cup points of his career. In the following years he remained largely unsuccessful in the World Cup and Continental Cup. At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2001 in Lahti , Uram jumped from the normal hill to 41st place. Four weeks later he jumped his last World Cup in ski flying in Planica. Until 2002 he still jumped unsuccessfully in the Continental Cup before ending his active ski jumping career after the end of the season.
