Mathai Kochuparampil
Mathai Kochuparampil SDB (born May 28, 1939 in Kanjirapally , Kerala , India , † March 4, 1992 ) was Bishop of Diphu .
Life
Mathai Kochuparampil joined the religious order of the Salesians of Don Bosco in and received on 20 December 1969, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On December 5, 1983, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Diphu. . Pope John Paul II gave him on January 6, 1984 at St. Peter's Basilica , the episcopal ordination ; Co-consecrators were the Curia Archbishops Eduardo Martínez Somalo , substitute in the Vatican State Secretariat , and Duraisamy Simon Lourdusamy , Secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples .
