John Thomas Kattrukudiyil

John Thomas Kattrukudiyil (born January 18, 1948 in Kothamangalam , Kerala , India ) is Bishop of Itanagar .

Life

John Thomas Kattrukudiyil was ordained a priest on February 3, 1975 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Diphu on June 10, 1994 . The bishop of Imphal , Joseph Mittathany , donated his episcopal ordination on September 8th of the same year; Co- consecrators were Robert Kerketta SDB , Bishop of Tezpur , and Denzil Reginald D'Souza , Bishop of Silchar .

On December 7, 2005, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the bishop of Itanagar. The ceremonial inauguration ( enthronement ) took place on March 12, 2006.

In October 2019 Kattrukudiyil was a guest of the catholic relief organization missio on the occasion of the month of world mission.
