Mathias Münch (born March 17, 1970 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German television and radio journalist.

Münch has worked for the radio program hr3 since 1990 as an editor, presenter and author. Since 2000 he has been the presenter of the morning program Pop & Weck . He was temporarily suspended in December 2000 because of an inappropriate comment made on the broadcast. Münch had approved the announcement of a television program on Hessen-Fernssehen, in which the election for "Ass of the Year" was to take place. The choices were a BSE cattle, a fighting dog and Prime Minister Roland Koch .

From 1997 to 1999 Münch presented the weekly children's program Philipps Tierstunde on the children's channel . This was followed by the moderation of several travel programs on ZDF and at hr. From 2005 to 2019, he led the daily evening live service on hr television . Between 2003 and June 2011 he moderated the program c't magazin.tv on hr-fernsehen together with Georg Schnurer .

Since 2001 he has been a permanent member of the Neu-Isenburg dialect ensemble . His most popular roles to date have been George Adams in Ray Cooney's Out of Control (2001), Böcklein in The True Jacob by Franz Arnold and Ernst Bach (2004) and Chief Inspector DeCraven in Dinner for One - Killer for Five by Gerold Theobald (2006).

In 2004 he wrote the lyrics to the music of Thorsten Wszolek for Die Feuerzangenbowle - Das Musical together with Werner F. Krause .
