Mathias Ross Jensen (born January 15, 2001 in Aalborg ) is a Danish football player . He has been with Aalborg BK since his youth and is a young Danish national player.

Career

Ross started playing football at Aalborg KFUM at the age of ten and switched to the youth academy of the partner club Aalborg BK as a U13 player . On September 2, 2018, he played for the first time for the professional team in the 2-2 away game against Randers FC at the age of 17. During the regular season he was used a total of three times, but from the relegation round he established himself in the professional team. Aalborg BK qualified for the play-offs to participate in the first qualifying round for the Europa League , where they were eliminated in the first round against Aarhus GF . Ross' contract runs until June 30, 2023.

National team

With the Danish U17 national team , Ross took part in the 2018 European Championship in England . With his team he was eliminated after the group stage, while Ross was used in all three games. He has been playing for the Danish U19 since September 2018 .
