Mathias Schultz

Mathias Schultz (born May 23, 1984 in Schwerin ) is a German motorcycle speedway racer .

Life

He started his career at the age of ten in the high school class. Through the junior classes, Schultz worked his way up to the national top class. In 2000 he won his first national title as German Junior Champion in Olching . In 2003, at the age of 19, he won the final of the German Speedway Championship in Landshut , a success that he was able to repeat in 2005.

In the Speedway Bundesliga , Schultz started for MC Nordstern Stralsund , MSC Diedenbergen , MC Güstrow , MC Parchim , MSC Brokstedt , MSC Norden , MSC Wolfslake and MSC Wölfe Wittstock . He also had an engagement in the Danish Speedway Super League, as well as in the Swedish, Czech and Polish leagues. Schultz also took part in the qualifications for the European Speedway Junior U19 Championship, the U21 Junior World Championship and the World Cup Grand Prix qualification. In 2011 he was in the main round of the Speedway World Cup with the German national speedway team and has been part of the German national team ever since.
