Matteo d'Acquasparta
Matteo d'Acquasparta ( also Matthew of Acquasparta ) OFM (* around 1240 in Acquasparta ; † October 28, 1302 in Rome ) was a cardinal of the Catholic Church and twelfth general of the Franciscans.
Pope Nicholas IV made him Cardinal of San Lorenzo in Damaso on May 16, 1288 . He was also Bishop of Porto between 1292 and 1302. He is buried in the Church of Santa Maria in Aracoeli .
