Matthäus Friedrich Scheinlein

Matthäus Friedrich Scheinlein (born September 19, 1710 in Kornhöfstadt (today Scheinfeld ), † June 5, 1771 in Langenfeld , Middle Franconia ) was a Franconian violin maker .

Live and act

MF Scheinlein was a trained wood turner and then started making harps. After repairing instruments, he probably came to violin making, which he a. a. learned on several trips to Mittenwald.
