history

The diocese of Oberá was on June 13, 2009 by Pope Benedict XVI. built with the Apostolic Constitution Valde solliciti from cedings of the dioceses of Posadas and Puerto Iguazú and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Corrientes as a suffragan diocese.
