The Whirlwind Glaciers are four large glaciers that flow together into the west side of Whirlwind Inlet on the Bowman coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . The glaciers are in detail

• the Flint Glacier ( 67 ° 17 ′  S , 65 ° 25 ′  W ), which flows between the Demorest Glacier and Cape Northrop in a southerly direction to Whirlwind Inlet. It is named after Richard Foster Flint (1902–1976), geologist at Yale University ,
• the Demorest Glacier ( 67 ° 20 ′  S , 65 ° 37 ′  W ), which flows between the Flint and Matthes Glaciers in a south-easterly direction to Whirlwind Inlet. It is named after the American glaciologist Max Harrison Demorest (1910–1942),
• the Matthes Glacier ( 67 ° 30 ′  S , 65 ° 47 ′  W ), which flows with a length of 15 km between the Demorest and Chamberlin Glaciers in an easterly direction to Whirlwind Inlet. It is named after the American glaciologist François E. Matthes (1874–1948), chief geologist of the United States Geological Survey and
• the Chamberlin Glacier ( 67 ° 34 ′  S , 65 ° 44 ′  W ), which flows 6.5 km southeast of the Matthes Glacier in a northeasterly direction to Whirlwind Inlet. It is named after the American glaciologist and geomorphologist Thomas Chrowder Chamberlin (1843–1928).

They were discovered during an overflight on December 20, 1928 by the Australian polar explorer Hubert Wilkins . Wilkins named it so because its radial arrangement reminded him of a radial engine of the Wright Whirlwind series made by the US manufacturer Wright Aeronautical . They were photographed from the air in 1940 during the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939–1941). In 1948 the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey made a map of the area.
