Life

Boosch grew up in Bischofsheim and studied German , history and book studies at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz . Among other things, he worked in temporary jobs in the book trade, as a hose guard and as a postman. In 2009 the political and media satire Großtyphien strikes back was published , a live coverage of the ant wars of the state Großtyphien. Boosch took the experimental character of the text into account by letting the audience cheer on the ant fighters during acts of war and thus seducing them to take on the role of perpetrator. In 2016, the short story collection Black Friday was published - and other Latvian stories with semi-biographical narratives based on a longer stay in Latvia in 2006/07. Boosch is known for his very lively way of reading his own texts in front of an audience.
