Matthias Hues

Matthias Hues (born February 14, 1959 in Waltrop ) is a German actor and Taekwondoin .

Life

In 1978 Hues won the Pentathlon Championship in Hanover with the team . He decided to take martial arts lessons and made it to wear the black belt in Taekwondo . He is also an experienced kickboxer .

After graduating from school, Hues moved to Paris , where he worked in hotels and fitness centers, before moving back to Germany. There he built two gyms and sold them again after two years to move to Hawaii and later to Los Angeles ; he joined Gold's Gym in Venice . He came into contact with the film industry through the manager of Gold's Gym, a former stuntman . He played his first role in Karate Tiger 2 , two years later he played Dolph Lundgren's extraterrestrial antagonist in Dark Angel . In the following years he played in various film and television productions.
