action
Jack Caine, an American police officer, is working on a case of trying to arrest a gang of drug dealers. While monitoring a drug store, he leaves his location briefly to end a robbery at a nearby store. When he returns, he finds that his undercover agent was shot dead in the drug delivery process. When inspecting the crime scene, three of the drug lord's henchmen are lying on the ground with their throats cut, the cause of which is a mystery to the investigators.
When the gangsters themselves hunt him down, he learns that they suspect the police of having started a drug war. It quickly becomes apparent that Talec, an alien drug dealer, has landed on earth. This injects people with an overdose of heroin in order to then take the endorphin from their brain. This endogenous drug is a sought-after intoxicant in the home of the alien murderer. He is hunted by Azeck, an alien policeman who is fatally wounded by Talec. Before he dies, he can ask Caine for help and hand him his weapon. Jack Caine goes on the hunt with his partner Smith and coroner Diane. In an action-packed showdown on a factory site, the trio succeeds in averting the extraterrestrial threat.

Reviews
Lexicon of international film : "A curious mixture of genre films that tries to combine set pieces from crime and science fiction cinema, but is mainly limited to a series of both effective and violent action scenes."
Caryn James of the New York Times said, “With more stylish direction and a few funnier twists in the script, Dark Angel might have opened up a whole new genre of gangster films. Instead, it's another standard action formula film. "
Others
The film's indexing, which had existed since 1991, was lifted after the 25-year period in May 2016. After a re-examination by the FSK, the unabridged version was released from the age of 16.
