Harald Dietl

Harald Dietl (born April 18, 1933 in Altenburg ) is a German theater and film actor and voice actor .

Act

Harald Dietl grew up in Augsburg and Pforzheim as the son of a paper manufacturer. Dietl first completed an apprenticeship as a typesetter . Then he worked as a journalist. Reports have taken him several times to Burma , China (including during the Cultural Revolution ) and the Soviet Union (Siberia, old Silk Road), but also to the Mongolian People's Republic , Cuba , Albania and Vietnam .

After training as an actor, he received stage engagements a. a. in Munich , Vienna ( Burgtheater ), Stuttgart , Jagsthausen Castle Festival , Basel , and Berlin .

Four girls from the Wachau was the second film he played in. He became particularly popular because of his permanent role as Commissioner Feldmann in the crime series The Men from K3 .

In addition Dietl worked extensively as a voice actor , lending his voice known acting colleagues like Richard Griffiths (Uncle Vernon in the Harry Potter films), Roger Moore ( Beyond the Ruwenzori and Madonna with two faces ), John Rhys-Davies ( The scary hulk in court ) and Patrick Stewart ( Excalibur ). He should also be known to many as the German leader of the science fiction series Spaceship Enterprise: The Next Century . Dietl, who is also active as a writer, received the Bavarian Poet Thaler in 1989 . He also lent his voice to the rat Django in the animated film Ratatouille .
