Michael Greene

Michael Greene (born November 4, 1933 in San Francisco , California - January 10, 2020 ) was an American actor .

Life

Green began his career in the early 1960s with guest roles in various western series such as Outlaws and The Bounty Hunter . From 1962 to 1963 he played on the side of Jack Elam and Chad Everett one of the leading roles in the western series The Dakotas . The spin-off of the hit series Cheyenne , in which he had previously been introduced as Deputy Vance Porter , was far less popular and was canceled after the 19th episode aired. In the years that followed, Green continued to appear mainly in TV wests like Bonanza and Smoking Colts . From the 1980s, he was increasingly seen outside of his traditional genre, including in popular action series The A-Team and A Colt for All Cases , as well as in the science fiction series Twilight Zone and Back to the Past . Most recently, in 2001, he played alongside Richard Dreyfuss and Richard Crenna in the role of George HW Bush in the television film The Day Reagan Was Shot .

He made his feature film debut in 1962 in the low-budget film This Is Not a Test , which thematized the outbreak of a nuclear war between the USA and the Soviet Union . In 1973 he got the lead role in the B-movie Clones: Labor des Horens , where he played as Dr. Gerald Appleby discovered a conspiracy that resulted in clones being created by numerous scientists . He has appeared in minor roles in a number of Hollywood productions , including Life and Death in LA , A Crazy Journey through the Night, and For the Boys - Days of Fame, Days of Love .

Greene was divorced and had one child.
