Matthias Mantei

Matthias Mantei (born December 29, 1973 in Neubrandenburg ) is a German financier and politician ( CDU ).

After training at the tax office in Neubrandenburg from 1990 to 1993, Mantei became a civil servant there in 1993. In 1999 he moved to the Rostock tax office .

Mantei is a reserve officer and a member of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania reserve association .

In May 1994 Mantei joined the CDU. Since September 2005 he has been a member of the SME Association. He is a member of the finance committee of the Heringsdorf community . In September 2010 he moved up for Ilka Lochner-Borst in the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania state parliament , where he was the social policy spokesman for the CDU parliamentary group. He did not run for the 2011 state election.

In the municipal elections in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in 2014 , he was elected to the municipal council of the Baltic Sea resort of Heringsdorf .
