Matthias Reincke (born December 23, 1971 in Hamburg ) is a former soccer player for Hamburger SV .

Life

Matthias Reincke spent most of his childhood in a home in the Hamburg district of Billstedt . During this time he played football in the youth department of the Billstedt Horn club. He also played in the leisure league team BFC Sonnenland.

In the summer of 1993, Reincke, then 21 years old, moved to Concordia Hamburg . There the Hamburg sports club became aware of him and signed him in 1997 for his amateur team. From this he made the leap into the Bundesliga team of the club. Due to a suffering from asthma, the final breakthrough was denied to him and he only played four Bundesliga games. Since his drug was on the doping list , he was banned from playing in the first and second Bundesliga . So he continued to play with the amateurs and moved from there to 1. SC Norderstedt .

From Norderstedt he moved back to Billstedt-Horn. After one season he went to TSV Sasel and from there to ASV Bergedorf 85 . He remained loyal to this for six years before he moved again within the Hamburg Oberliga at the age of 37 and joined SV Curslack-Neuengamme .

Reincke, known as “Matte” in football circles, was in charge of the national league club TSV Sasel in the 2013/14 season. At the beginning of the 2014/15 season he became co-trainer of Thomas Bliemeister at SV Halstenbek-Rellingen in the Oberliga Hamburg and remained in office after the club separated from Bliemeister. For the 2017/18 season, Reincke moved from Halstenbek / Rellingen to Hamburg's upper division FC Teutonia 05 Ottensen , and in mid-March 2020 there was a separation.
