The Spielverein Curslack-Neuengamme is a sports club from the Hamburg districts of Curslack and Neuengamme in the Bergedorf district . The first soccer team plays in the Hamburg Oberliga . In addition to football, the club also offers badminton , ju-jutsu , table tennis and gymnastics .

history

The club first drew attention to itself in the 1963/64 season, when the first team played in the then fourth-class association league, but was relegated as the last defeated. It was not until 1970 that the team was able to establish itself in the second highest division in Hamburg and three years later reached the highest division in Hamburg. The highlight of the promotion season was a 0-1 defeat against ASV Bergedorf 85 in front of 4500 spectators. In the 1974/75 season, SV was third in the table behind VfL Pinneberg and Altona 93 .

After the greatest success in the club's history, the team fell back into mediocrity and rose in 1979 from the Hamburg upper house, which is now known as the Association League. After relegation to the district league in 1984, the club became the elevator team . In the 1986/87 season they returned to the national league for a year. Between 1988 and 1992, the club and TSV Kirchwerder formed the FSG Vierlande game community , which was finally banned by the Hamburg Football Association .

In the following years, the club shuttled between the district and district league, before returning to the Hamburg upper house in 2006. There, in the 2010/11 season, third place was achieved behind the second team of FC St. Pauli and TSV Buchholz 08 . Three years later , SV was even runner-up behind TuS Dassendorf .
