history

The parent clubs

The club was created on March 27, 2013 through the merger of SC Concordia Hamburg with TSV Wandsbek-Jenfeld. The SC Concordia Hamburg was founded on May 9, 1907. The merger partner TSV Wandsbek-Jenfeld goes back to the workers' sports club FTSV Wandsbek , which was founded in 1881 and which was banned in 1933, just like the Wandsbek-Hinschenfelde Free Water Sports Club . The members later joined the in 1913 as a sports club East Wandsbek founded Jenfelder SV East Wandsbek for TSV Wandsbek together, from which in 2000 the TSV Wandsbek-Jenfeld was. On April 25, 2014, the Wandsbeker men's gymnastics club from 1872 joined the Wandsbeck TSV Concordia. In football, the SC Concordia was the most important club. The footballers played from 1947 to 1953 and from 1956 to 1963 in the then first-class Oberliga Nord . In contrast, Wandsbek 72 was particularly successful in handball: the first women's team played in the 2nd Bundesliga from 1993 to 1998 .

Sporting development

From July 1, 2013, the footballers played under the current name. After a fourth place in the 2013/14 season, the Concordia was runner-up in the Landesliga Hansa a year later behind FC Türkiye Wilhelmsburg . Now the Wandsbeker had to compete against the runner-up of the Hammonia relay TuS Osdorf and lost the first leg with 1: 2. Concordia won the second leg in their own place 3-0 and thus made it to the top division. There the club finished 11th in the 2015/16 season.
