Matthias Vohrer

Matthias Vohrer (born January 7, 1966 in Reutlingen ) is a former German basketball player .

career

At the European Cadet Championships in Tübingen and Ludwigsburg  , Vohrer won the bronze medal with the German selection. According to DBB-Journal , he formed  a “magical square” with Michael Koch , Jan Villwock and Kai Nürnberger . Vohrer led the home team during the tournament as the best scorer with an average of 13.1 points per match. His high was 20 points in the game for third place. In August 1984 he took part with the German national junior team at the European Championships in Sweden, where he scored 8.7 points per game.

Vohrer played for SV 03 Tübingen and  proved his attacking strength in the 2nd basketball league . In 1992 he rose with Tübingen as a champion of the 2nd league south in the basketball Bundesliga  . During the promotion season he scored an average of 7.9 points per game in ten missions. Vohrer's job was in the field of warehouse technology vehicles.
