Maurice Klippel

Maurice Klippel (born May 30, 1858 in Mulhouse in Alsace , † July 20, 1942 in Vevey , Switzerland ) was a French neurologist and psychiatrist .

Life

Maurice Klippel studied medicine in Paris. In 1884 he became an assistant doctor and received his doctorate in 1889. In 1901 he became a hospital doctor. In the same year he became a senior physician at the Hospice Debrousse . In 1902 he received the post of head of department for internal medicine at the Hôpital Tenon .

Klippel was considered a hardworking writer, known for his neurological and psychiatric publications. He covered a wide range of medical topics including histology, pathology, and congenital disorders. Klippel retired in 1924.
