Maurice Kriegs

Maurice Kriegs (born April 11, 1991 in Paderborn ) is a German chef .

Career

In 2008, the then 17-year-old Krieg spoke to the TV chef Alfons Schuhbeck on the show Küchenschlacht , asking if he could do a cooking apprenticeship with him. He did that and cooked in South Tyrolean parlors in Munich (one Michelin star). Then he cooked for a few years at Christian Bau in Saarland (three Michelin stars).

From the end of 2016 to the end of 2019 he was head chef in Alfons Schuhbeck's restaurant Schuhbecks Fine Dining in Boettners , which was awarded one star in the 2018 Michelin Guide .

In December 2019, he left the restaurant and plans to take over her parents' inn in Zell am Moos with his partner Barbara Langwallner, who previously also worked for Christian Jürgens .
