Life

After graduating from the University of Padua in 1977, Milan entered his professional life with projects on prefabricated steel and concrete buildings. He co-founded Favero & Milan ingegneria SpA, which he left in 2013, and founded Milan Ingegneria Srl, where he is currently employed.

Since 2013 he has been working as a tutor for the urban development project "Progetto Giovani G124" by Senator Renzo Piano.

Work philosophy

The leitmotif of his professional activity can be summed up in one sentence: "Simple solutions to complex problems". Through testing and research, he looks for constructive solutions that are in harmony with the respective architectural project and meet the most demanding requirements for safety and functionality. Despite his preference for structural engineering, he has always recognized the deep relationship between architectural design, structural solution, functional distribution of space and economic viability and brought all these aspects together in his work.
