Max Barry
Max Barry (born March 18, 1973 in Melbourne ) is an Australian writer .
Life
His first novel Fukk , a satire about the world of marketing , appeared in 1999 under the name Max x Barry. His second book Logoland , a novel about a world ruled by large corporations, was published in 2003. He created the Internet game NationStates to advertise Logoland . His third book Chefsache , a satire about large companies, was published on January 17, 2006.
The rights for Logo Land has George Clooney secured.
His novella Fukk (originally Syrup ), published in 1999, was filmed in 2013.
Prior to his writing career, Barry sold computer systems for Hewlett-Packard . He lives in Melbourne with his wife and daughter .
