Max Bendiner

Max Bendiner (born July 27, 1865 in Dresden , † August 15, 1924 in Berlin ) was a German civil servant and politician ( SPD , non-party).

Life

After attending grammar school, Bendiner studied history, economics and law. He was promoted to Dr. phil. PhD and initially worked as a research assistant. Later he worked as a journalist and published socio-political and economic writings. In 1916 he switched to the Prussian administrative service. From 1919 he worked as a laborer and from 1920 as a councilor in the Prussian Ministry of Agriculture, Domains and Forests in Berlin-Schöneberg .

Bendiner joined the SPD in 1918, for which he ran unsuccessfully for the Reichstag in the Reichstag election in June 1920 . In February 1921 he was elected to the Prussian state parliament via constituency 3 (Potsdam II) . After leaving the SPD in 1923, he left the Social Democrats and was a non-attached MP until his death.
