Max Beringer
Max Beringer (born May 18, 1886 in Mindelheim ; † June 26, 1961 in Memmingen ) was a German painter and graphic artist .
Life
He studied from 1904 to 1914 at the Munich School of Applied Arts and the Munich Academy of Fine Arts . He made further training trips to Italy , Paris , Berlin and Dresden, among others . He took part in the exhibitions of the Munich Secession .
Beringer painted portraits, figures and landscapes. As a graphic artist, he was known for special etchings. Among other things, he illustrated the magazine Jugendlust in the years 1907/08 to 1914/15. He most recently lived in the Munich district Pasing .
