Max Brandl (politician, 1935)

Max Brandl (born February 3, 1935 in Kötzting-Ramsried , † August 9, 2016 ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Brandl attended elementary school in Grafenwiesen and the grammar school in Cham , where he graduated from high school. He then did a pedagogical training at the Institute for Teacher Training in Straubing , the first in 1956 and the second in 1959. In 1968 he became a teacher at the Hohenwarth -Grafenwiesen elementary school .

In 1964 Brandl became a member of the SPD and became the local chairman in Grafenwiesen. He was initially the SPD district chairman in Kötzting and, after the district reform, deputy chairman of the SPD district association Cham . In 1966 he became honorary 1st mayor of his home town Grafenwiesen, he was also a district councilor and chairman of the SPD district parliamentary group in Cham. From 1986 to 1990 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament , which also included another SPD politician named Max Brandl .
